Have you ever considered becoming a lifeguard or need to re-certify for the
upcoming summer?

Fulton – El Camino Recreation and Park District is
holding Lifeguarding and recertification classes this Spring! Upon
completion of the class, you will hold all the certifications necessary to be a
lifeguard in the state of California.
This American Red Cross class will cover water rescue skills, CPR for the
Professional Rescuer, First Aid, and lifeguard training.
Pre-requisites: You must be 15+ years of age by the first day of class, be able to swim
up to 200 yards, tread water for 2min without using arms, and perform a 20 yard swim,
diving 9-feet to retrieve a 10 lb brick .
Be prepared to swim everyday.
This class is hybrid. You will be emailed with an online portion to complete before
the in portion part of the class. Proof of completion is required at the beginning of
the first day of class - the remainder of the class will be in person.
