Sacramento Children's Musical Theater at Howe Park Theater

HOLIDAY SHOW AUDITIONS!

The Fulton-El Camino Recreation & Park District and SCMT seek local youth ages 5–18 to star in “Tinseltown”, a new youth theater production featuring scripted sketches and musical numbers from your favorite holiday movies and classic Christmas TV specials!

Our inclusive program accepts all youth who audition. SCMT fosters diversity and inclusion and no experience is required. SCMT’s convenient program with only one rehearsal per week on Sundays at Howe Park makes participation fun and easy for busy families.

The participation fee is $345 per child (includes a $20 refundable costume deposit.) $25 discount per additional sibling.

The Fulton-El Camino Recreation & Park District is excited to announce a new youth theater program through our partnership with The Sacramento Children’s Musical Theater. The Sacramento Children’s Musical Theater (SCMT) is dedicated to creating high quality performing arts experiences for youth ages 5-18. By offering colorful youth theatrical productions, SCMT provides performing arts training that boosts children’s self-esteem, confidence, and teaches the value of teamwork. Their inclusive program accepts all youth who audition and provides a variety of performing arts opportunities for first timers to experienced performers. Throughout the year, SCMT will offer a variety of musical theater
productions, film projects, workshops and classes that will be held at The Richard T. Conzelmann Community Center located in Howe Park.
